We are the Rochford District Community Archive, a group of volunteers from the Rochford District.

This website was made possible with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the help and expertise of Essex County Libraries and the Essex Records Office.

It is run by volunteers from the Rochford district.

Our site was officially launched by Rodney Bass, Chairman of Essex County Council, on 2nd April 2011 at the Essex Records Office. (Thanks to the Benfleet Community Archive for coverage of this event.
