Hi Angela - I live in Great Stambridge and will try and contact the church as it is only a mile and a half down the road. There was also a church in Little Stambridge called St Mary's as well I think. This was pulled down a number of years ago but there are still some gravestones in a garden of Little Stambridge Hall. I know the owner so it shouldn't be a problem to take a look if need be. The Great Stambridge church and cemetary is well cared for so if your relative's grave is there it should not be too difficult to find.
