Anchor Inn, Canewdon

The Anchor Inn has been part of Canewdon village since the 16th century. Situated in the heart of the village, this ancient inn has apparently witnessed many extraordinary events. It is believed to have been the home of one Sarah, a witch who was put to death in 1666. Her ghost is said to haunt the inn still....
