I do remember this event, it was a lot of work but you forget all that when you see so many people enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if the Fayres continued as we moved to South Fambridge the following year and had so much work to do on our new home we had to give up Canewdon activities. Happy memories but it all seems so long ago!
