200 years of Rayleigh Windmill

Rayleigh Windmill is one of the area's best-loved landmarks and in 2009, it saw its bicentenary. To celebrate, Rochford District Council organised an exhibition, "Sails in the Wind", of artefacts and people's memories relating to this iconic building.

We are pleased to be able to present some of this material here.
